 LARGE GROCERY/Hardware STORE ON THE LEFT. AND THE " COZY CORNER "... 

 a wonderful RESTAURANT ON THE RIGHT. Every one  stopped there for

 Their coffee and a rest after the long drive from SYDNEY.


   HERE'S a rare picture of the very first car owned by a resident

 of ENGLISHTOWN. His name has been forgotten,and the car is lost

 forever.... but the memory goes on and on.


         Here's a hand coloured picture of SYDNEY at the time

   when the ferry "MARY" came on board to take passengers to

 WESTMOUNT. THE OLD Robin Hood Wharf and warehouse and the

 ORIGINAL SYDNEY HOTEL are all in this great picture.
